Job Title: Senior Product Owner (9-12 month Contract with possible extension)
Location: East Coast of America
We are working with a leading technology company that provides innovative solutions to businesses worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join our team for a contract role on the East Coast of America. This position will report to the Director of Product and will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy for large clients, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure the product meets customer needs, is technically feasible, and is financially viable.
  • Lead an agile team consisting of software engineers, experience designers and quality assurance engineers.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to break down product requirements into clear and concise user stories, and ensure the team has a clear understanding of the product vision and goals.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is always up to date and reflects the most current priorities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape, and incorporate these insights into the product strategy and roadmap.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, with a track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of UX design principles and the ability to work closely with designers to ensure the product is user-friendly and intuitive.
  • Background in Software Engineering & stakeholders management.
