Job Description :

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Test Analyst who would like to oversee all test activities for a Software House in Manchester. The company is expanding globally and require a Senior Test Analyst to lead the Test Function and take an active part in all aspects of the software development life-cycle.


The right Senior Test Analyst for this role will be looking for an opportunity that provides both responsibility and autonomy. Working as part of a tightly knit development team, the Senior Test Analyst will build, run and report on both manual and automated test cases. The software is in use by many large financial services company around the globe, so attention to detail is key for this role.


Key requirements for the Senior Test Analyst role:
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar
  • Experience creating Azure Test Plans
  • API Testing using Postman or similar
  • Experience working in agile Scrum / Kanban enviroments
  • A problem solver and have excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Sound commercial awareness

Desirable Experience:
  • ISTQB Accreditation
  • Microsoft Visual Studios
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Source Control
  • CI/CD using DevOps tools
  • Specflow / Gherkin
  • Playwrite

In return, the successful candidate will be entitled to a salary of up to £55,000 (DOE) and a range of benefits, and offers a hybrid working model.
