Service Delivery Manager - Heathrow Airport

Hours : 42 hours per week

Salary : £38,500 per annum

Job Overview

• To manage the service delivery of the Mitie Care + Custody Detention and Escorting contract within an allocated area, ensuring consistent service delivery in line with contractual and budgetary requirements, company policies and procedures and all relevant Home Office standards.
• Provide advice, coaching and support to staff in order to maximise the efficient and effective operation of the service delivery.

Main Duties

• Manage, motivate, coach and support staff to maximise staff performance and contribution.
• Manage resourcing within area of responsibility to ensure an effective operation is delivered in line with contractual requirements and company standards.
• Establish effective communications and organise the provision of data ensuring that relevant information is processed and disseminated both accurately and to deadline.
• Manage and control relevant budget so that a cost effective service is delivered within set financial parameters and according to company policies and procedures.
• Develop a climate where people are respected and valued, treated with dignity, developed and recognised so that a safe, inclusive and positive environment is created and maintained.
• Promote Health & Safety to ensure it is embedded within the operation and its' requirements are met.
• Support and maintain a climate committed to continuous improvement and the delivery of excellent service.
• Act as the Duty Manager as and when required to ensure continuity of service delivery.

What we are looking for

• Significant experience at a managerial level within a relevant custodial environment is essential.
