Job Description :

The Digital Workflows Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between scrum teams and clients to identify and design optimal solutions and drive the Digital Workflows roadmap and direction on the SerivceNow platform. The Business Analyst will work with client teams to write user stories, work with technology teams to define technical solutions, and ensure agile processes and practices are followed. The Business Analyst should also have strong project management and communication skills and experience managing a product roadmap with multiple stakeholders.

The Business Analyst will attend and actively participate in scrum meetings and remain engaged in scrum development. They will interact with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions using insight gained to complete business scope documents and define user personas for individual products. The Business Analyst will also serve as an escalation point for clients.

The successful candidate will also ensure the successful execution of the various workstreams as part of their project. They should have a solid understanding of agile execution methodologies as they will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle to aid in successful project completion. This includes requirement gathering, engagement in scrum development, and test management.

Responsibilities include:
  • Partner with Product Owner and product team for ongoing refinement of product backlog and execution of the product roadmap
  • Define and present strategy for features, write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and participate in all agile events of the product group as a team member
  • Act as voice of the customer and drive product vision
  • Manage existing product features and actively lead the research definition and development of new features to advance the product roadmap
  • Facilitate and drive customer focused solutions across the organization in direct support of the Product Owner and team
  • Work with other product teams, legal, risk, operations, design and technology teams to define, prioritize, deliver and align solutions to product vision and roadmap
  • Act as subject matter expert with respect to major business processes and supporting applications/capabilities
  • Support feature teams with MVP, testing, user experience testing, product backlog refinement, research and other duties as assigned
  • Support Product Owner with developing business cases and/or measuring/improving operational results
  • Identify and partner with stakeholders to implement changes in operational policies, process flows, procedures, and specialist tools and customer messages

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience.
  • Business Analyst experience for one or more modules within ServiceNow
  • Agile/Scrum certifications a plus.
  • Experience working with globally distributed scrum teams a plus.
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both written and verbal.
  • Agile project management experience, including use of agile project management tools (i.e. Confluence, JIRA, Git, etc.).
  • Ability to manage backlog.
  • Analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Negotiation skills preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage continuously shifting business priorities
  • Be self-motivated and confident in ambiguous circumstances.
