Uppal Convenience Stores are an Independent family run business. We Currently have 4 Stores around Manchester and Cheshire area. Some of our stores have 'food to go' and or Post offices. We are looking for reliable and committed individuals to join our team at Sandiway.

More about the Role:

As a Retail Shop Assistant/ Cashier, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and help to drive/promote sales. Applicants must be friendly and be willing to help and assist customers in store and provide a positive customer experience.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Maximise sales by delivering excellent customer service
• Till operation and cash handling
• Maintaining security of the store according to company procedures
• Replenishing stock levels
• General cleaning duties
• Keeping adequate Due diligence in accordance with health and safety procedures
• Ensuring store standards are kept to a high standard
• Shift patterns vary from 8-2 or 2-10 and weekends

About you

• Be able to work as part of a team
• Have own Initiative
• Experience in Retail preferred
• Needs to be self motivated, committed and reliable
• Must be flexible as to working hours
• Adopt a positive attitude when dealing with customers
• Be comfortable with dealing with the General Public
• Ideally have own transport
