We are looking for a Social Media and Content Manager to lead content across the Daxbourne Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for developing content to be implemented across social media, email, our websites, paid media and any other platforms as needed.

· Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies.

· Ownership and management of the social media content calendar, including managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels for both Daxbourne Websites (Hothair and Natural Image)

· Create inspiring content, in line with current trends, to grow our following, drive sales and promote brand awareness.

· Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and celebrities to promote our brands.

· Create campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing and Product Development team to create social buzz around new launches, as well as maintaining and promoting existing lines and brand identity.

· Monitoring social media metrics and analytics and deliver accurate and timely performance reports to the team.

· Review and evaluate social media content and metrics to provide recommendations and implement improvements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE, and can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a social media role, with experience managing a variety of social platforms, especially: Instagram, Facebook and TikTok as well as Pinterest and Twitter.
• Be proficient in design software, including Lightroom/Photoshop and Canva
• Knowledge of short form film creation: Reels and TikToks : with the ability to create and edit short form videos (Splice, Adobe Rush or other similar editing platforms)
• Experience in the Beauty Industry is essential, with knowledge of hair, especially wigs and hair trends
• A track record of creating, implementing, and optimizing social media campaigns.

THE CANDIDATE WILL ALSO HAVE, and can demonstrate:

• Qualifications: Bachelors or equivalent experience level preferred
• Have a keen eye for imagery and design
• Be empathetic and diplomatic: many of our customers have experienced illness along with hair loss in some way which requires extra sensitivity in communication.
• Confidence and at ease in front of a camera and be (personally) published on our social media channels.
• Experience prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, adapting with changing priorities, and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
• Be a demonstrated self-starter, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and overseeing.
• Strong communication skills: with demonstrable proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Good analytical skills
• Be a Creative Thinker with commercial awareness and be a Lover of Hair and Beauty.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5-37.5 per week

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
