Job Summary:
The Reservoir simulation team at the Abingdon Technology center provides Kubernetes based cloud services for many purposes. At the gate of all deployments there's a proxy that holds important features and is the "public" face of our APIs. The focus of this project is to make a thorough analysis of such an important proxy. In this analysis the intern will go through the code and will enumerate the functions provided by this element. With this important information, the intern can learn about basic security exploitation techniques/tools so he/she can explore the potential flaws that it would present in many levels.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Qualifications:
Penultimate or final year student, studying towards Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field.

Competencies:
Required skills:

• Passionate interest in DevOps/Network/Cloud Security
• Willingness to learn new technologies

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Azure, GCP or AWS cloud would be advantageous
• Programming skills in bash scripting, Python and Go would be advantageous
