The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our well-established Commercial Litigation department. The role can be based in any of our offices within Lincoln, Nottingham, Boston, Gainsborough, Sleaford.

The Firm’s Commercial Litigation Department is an established and well-regarded team with a wealth of expertise across all aspects of commercial and personal disputes. The department values teamwork supports progression, and the successful candidate will benefit from working closely with several experienced fee earners within the department and across the firm’s other practice areas.

The successful candidate will be expected to deal with the full remit of commercial and civil litigation matters, including shareholder and partnership disputes, property disputes, cohabitation and neighbour disputes, contract disputes, professional negligence, IP disputes, Contentious probate and debt recovery.

Duties

The role will include:

• taking on existing matters;
• managing and progressing own caseload in an efficient and effective manner;
• dealing with enquiries from potential clients, colleagues and existing clients promptly;
• assisting with the development of the department in the designated area;
• ensuring that SRA regulations regarding competency are consistently kept up to date.

Skills

The ideal candidate will:

• be an experienced qualified Legal Executive or Solicitor;
• have a minimum of a 2:1 degree with a good academic record;
• be keen to network and develop the business; and
• have a strong work ethic.
