Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist - Gedling and Hucknall Intensive Home Treatment Team (IHTT)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic occupational therapist to join the Gedling and Hucknall IHTT. The team provides short-term intensive intervention to older people in their own homes to avoid admission to hospital or long-term care due to their mental health or a dementia diagnosis.
This is a challenging but rewarding role with a strong multidisciplinary approach within the team.
The post covers Gedling and Hucknall area and is based at Highbury Hospital working shifts between 08:00 and 20:00 seven days a week to meet the diverse needs of this patient group.
In addition to support from your team leader and the MDT, OT specific support is provided by monthly peer supervision and forums which offer support and CPD
