Security Officer

£11.41 per Hour

Based in Sherburn in Elmet, which, due to location and hours you will need your own transport to the site or be local to Sherburn in Elmet (LS25)

The role will be paid 44 hours per week rolling 4 days on 4 days off - 06.30 hours to 18.30 hours (your are on site for 48 hours with an hour unpaid breaks)

Duties & Responsibilities

· Acting as the first point of contact for all Drivers and visitors to the site

· Booking in all visitors and completing appropriate documents for the site including health questionnaires

· Ensuring all Drivers and Visitors adhere to H&S regulations and are checking into the site in a professional and welcoming manner

· Providing Visitor badges and lanyards, collecting the same on departure

· Notifying the appropriate site contact that visitors have arrived

· Directing all visitors to the appropriate entrance to meet their Onsite contact

· Allocation of parking spaces as booked for visitors

· Ensuring all Drivers Park appropriately

· Answering (out of hours) incoming telephone calls and directing the call to the appropriate person

· Operation of security gates for staff and visitors when required

· Booking all visitors and drivers out as they leave the site collecting all lanyards as required

Must have’s

· Must have excellent spoken and understanding of English

· Must have a friendly, cheerful and welcoming manner

· Must be able to get to the site, either walking or by one transport

· Flexible to work over time if required paid at T ¼

· Previous security experience al though training will be provided
