Job Description

As a Strategy Analyst in the Customer Experience Journey (CEJ) team your role is to support senior members of the team in providing strategic recommendations, which drive short-term improvements and longer-term transformation of customer experiences.

Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience Journey, the role sits in a Commercial Strategy and Customer Insight function within Abcam’s Marketing organisation. You will work closely alongside other members of the Customer Experience Journey team and wider stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Service and Digital.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic growth environment and aspires to be a leader in the life science industry. The role requires someone who is customer-oriented, commercially-minded and able to work cross-functionally to develop and drive strategic recommendations.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Work with senior members of the CEJ team and stakeholders across the wider organisation to identify tactical and strategic opportunities for improving, and ultimately transforming, customer experiences
  • Gather and interpret market intelligence data from a multitude of sources to generate insight resources relating to market and competitor landscapes
  • Work with Consumer Insights experts within the team, as well as stakeholders outside the team and org, to execute and analyse primary consumer research
  • Conduct analysis of internal data e.g. sales data, NPS using Tableau and Excel to draw insights and identify opportunities
  • Create confident, engaging presentations with compelling recommendations to support stakeholders in forming short- and long-term strategies, and empower them to make confident, data-driven decisions
  • Support senior members of the team in developing high-quality outputs to share with the wider organisation

Qualifications

You will be educated to at least degree level ideally in a biological science, Marketing qualifications/certification is a plus. You will have experience of business impact, either with consulting experience in relevant areas such as Strategy, Marketing or Commercial. We encourage all that can quickly grasp and work with technical or scientific concepts and use Tableau to analyse data and create dashboards to apply.
