Purpose of job

Our aim is to become a market leader in provision of Electric Vehicle charging solution provider to Local Authorities and Businesses as part of our strategy to lead the transition to zero carbon.

The goal is to undertake an ambitious electric vehicle charging installation program, deploying high volume and quality EV installations across the nation. Our aim is to make the world a better place, one charge point at the time.

The Street Works Supervisor works within the Operations team to ensure the smooth operational deployment of our Charge Point infrastructure. The role will be hybrid with a mix of onsite supervision working closely with our approved contractors and overseeing the noticing and TMO process and applications. Main duty is to oversee all street works and related activities, to ensure our build meets NRSWA and the Local Authority/Highway Authorities' conditions. In addition, the role supports the Technical Delivery Managers in ensuring milestones are completed on time and to the standards and quality set by the business.

Key Accountabilities

The role is responsible for the following:

• Working closely with the Operations team in the deployment of multiple installation projects in a geographical area.
• Manage civil contractors and engage with ICPs and DNO.
• Engagement with Local and Highway Authorities in relation to our programme of works to ensure a smooth deployment.
• Monitoring treet works permits - quality assurance and defects.
• Escalating any issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner and partnering with other key people (both internal and external) to find timely resolutions.
• Ensuring all project specific quality or technical standards are well understood by the contractor teams.
• Ensuring H&S requirements are being adhered to at all times.
• Plus any other duties as required by the leadership team.

Knowledge and Skills

• Well versed in the TMO/TRO process and Section 50 noticing
• Minimum of 5 years street works experience.
• Knowledge of the NRSWA & TMA
• Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness
• Knowledge/awareness of the building and CDM regulations
• H&S experience
• IT skills and Excel knowledge
• General commercial awareness
• A good level of numeracy and attention to detail
