Job Description Summary

Include using Business Analysis skills to support the Product Owner to identify and understand the business need, analyse and prioritise the requirements, through to assessing, designing, testing and implementing agreed solutions.

Our team is charged with providing automated and insightful enterprise technology management tooling for LBG. We're enabling and supporting the infrastructure of a number of strategic transformational initiatives through the provision of Enterprise Tooling Services and Products.

What will I do?
- Use your Business Analyst techniques to build and maintain a shared understanding of the problem your team is trying to resolve
- Support the Product Owner in making more efficient decisions by assisting their understanding of what adds the most value
- Facilitation of technical requirement gathering workshops
- Identification of customer personas and their needs through business analysis techniques
- Support the Product Owner with communication between the business user and the development team
- Identification and articulation of problem statements
- Capture business value of different initiatives
- Use short feedback cycles to learn about your customers' needs and adjust your product requirements accordingly
- Support the team with writing clear Acceptance Criteria to ensure everyone understands what fulfils the user stories
What we’re looking from you……
- A clear understanding of Business Analysis methodologies, techniques, and their practical application
- Some experience (or good understanding of) working within established agile project management methodologies or performing Business Analytical tasks in a Product Management context
- Experience of working with Enterprise technology management tooling, such as, Public and private cloud technologies, Infrastructure automation, monitoring and alerting tools.
Desirable skills / qualifications:
- BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis (or equivalent e.g. ISEB)
- Understanding of Power BI (or other similar tools) to support MI
- Experience using JIRA / Confluence or other similar workflow and product backlog management tools
