As a Test Analyst your role is fundamental to managing and coordinating project testing activities. You'll be promoting the adoption of the overall Testing Strategy, establishing and promoting best practices and defect prevention throughout the RSPCA.

The Test Analyst role involves working within the Digital Transformation Team to ensure formal testing of systems & applications is delivered to a high standard in line with agreed test strategies and plans.

The programme covers multiple exciting projects including extensions to our current platforms (Salesforce and Liferay) and the introduction of new technical solutions, across the Society's landscape.

We're looking for a flexible and proactive individual who enjoys working with people and has demonstrable functional testing experience with exposure to non-functional testing.

The role will be hybrid working from our South East Hub - (Horsham, West Sussex) or our London Hub in Blackfriars with a high focus on remote working. Trips to our hub will be for core collaboration.

Here's some of the key work that you will be doing...

• Promoting the adoption of the overall Testing Strategy throughout the Society and demonstrating the value of this approach by ensuring consistent IT compliance
• Coordinating project testing activities for systems which have migrated to the Cloud
• Approving the migration of any software into the test environments
• Assisting project managers with the estimation of testing effort required
• Accurately capturing and subsequently reviewing testing results

What we are looking for in you...

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of structured test approaches (e.g. V-Model, Waterfall).
• Experience of working with ETL technologies.
• Experience of working with Salesforce and or Liferay or similar.
• Understanding of the underlying technology and architecture of web sites & applications.
• Application development or business analysis experience.
• Understanding of version and change control.
• Software testing experience including test analysis, specification and execution of complex test cases.
• Experience of producing project reports.
• The ability to build and sustain relationships with internal and external audiences and to work collaboratively.
• Experience of testing systems which have migrated to the Cloud
• Commercial experience of working with industry standard test management and defect tracking tools.
• Source to Target Mapping Validation, Data Reconciliation and NF Requirements
• Experience of working with database technologies to include Postgres & Big Query
