Therapy Assistant - Band 4

30 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Therapy assistant to be part of our Children’s and Young Adults Intensive Support Team for Coventry and Warwickshire. If you are a driven and passionate and want to work with Autistic children and young adults and/or children with learning disabilities who have additional mental health needs and are at risk of admission to hospital, then we want to hear from you.

Please note many Trust interviews take place through Microsoft Teams, this can be downloaded either through the App Store or Google Play for use on your phone/tablet.

As a therapy assistant you will support the clinical team in carrying our clinical interventions, engagement with the young people and supervise the support workers. The clinical team compromises of clinical psychology, occupational therapists, nursing and support workers.

The team cover the whole of the Coventry and Warwickshire geographical area and the base will be Paybody, Coventry. The team currently work Monday to Friday 9-5 with expected flexibility to work 8-8 if there is a clinical need. The team currently follow a hybrid model of working remotely, in the community, or in one of the community bases.

We will provide training and supervision from our experienced clinicians in order to provide you with the necessary skills. You will work alongside the clinical staff and also work without direct supervision within the family home and other community settings.
