We are looking for an experienced, motivated and personable individual to fill the position of our new van driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company van to deliver products to clients. The van driver will be involved in all aspects of transporting products, including loading and unloading the van and transporting wheeled racks of products. This position requires a level of physical fitness as well as detailed knowledge of the city's main streets and neighbourhoods.

Responsibilities:

• Accept deliveries, verify contents, and deliver merchandise to the proper location.
• Load and unload merchandise.
• Load, stock, and unload merchandise according to company policy.
• Drive a vehicle.
• Accommodate the delivery of emergency supplies during times of civil unrest and political upheaval.
• Familiarise oneself with all applicable shipping regulations and ordinances.

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3-6 months

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Uxbridge, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
