At illio we are building the next generation of enterprise & personal wealth management tools. Our product development process is a highly collaborative process between design, engineering, and customer-facing teams. You will be joining an established team with experience building successful products in FinTech.

We are looking for a Visual Designer to work with our design, engineering, and marketing teams.

So what exactly would you be responsible for?

In this role you will help shape and develop the platform look and feel as we enter the B2C market for the first time, along with the design of future features we release.

You’ll inject empathy & creativity into the work of our small team of designers, marketers & engineers, ensuring customer focus through everything they do. You'll develop deep empathy for people, understand their needs, aspirations and challenges.

What do we need to see from applicants?

• Proven & demonstrable background in visual design.
• Skills in: competitor analysis/mood boarding, concepting, visual design across app (iOS and Android), mobile and web, and prototyping.
• Experience of supporting user research activities.
• Proficiency with industry standard design & business tools such as: Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma, InVision, …
• The ability to handle key colleagues in the business who come from digital and non-digital backgrounds.

• Understand and map out intuitive steps in processes, e.g. user flows.
• Structure information delivery throughout the journey, defining page types, design goals, etc.
• Build consistent design and interaction techniques across channels, e.g. component design.
• Proactively design with the customers’ needs in mind

Location & Ways of working:

Our office is based in New Covent Garden Market, near Vauxhall station and Nine Elms station. We work in a hybrid model, splitting our time between the office and working from home.
