Terre a Terre is looking for a full time, experienced and hard-working server to join our front of house team.

Terre a Terre is situated in the busy South Laines area of Brighton and has been serving innovative vegetarian cuisine for nearly 30 years.

The role requires looking after a section in an often very busy restaurant, ensuring all customer needs are met with efficiency and care.

This role is full time and shift based and requires being available daytimes, evenings and weekends though we can provide some flexibility within the rota around your lifestyle.

Requirements:

· At least two years’ experience as a server in high quality hospitality operations

· A great communicator, both with customers and fellow team members

· Good food and beverage knowledge – Terre a Terre is also committed to training to a high standard and filling in gaps in staff knowledge

· Excellent customer service standards, bags of personality and a positive, can-do attitude

· A hard worker with a keen eye for detail, especially a focus on special requests from customers, allergies, intolerances, and preferences

· The ability to work under your own direction, but also a team player who is happy to receive direction, training, and advice from management

· Maximising the customer experience and revenue by upselling food, drinks and Terre a Terre’s own take home retail range
