Job Description :
Responsibilities:
- To assist in receiving goods inwards, check and inspect goods received ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and acceptable quality and matching the relevant paperwork
- To assist other workers in loading and unloading goods
- To accurately pick, pack and label orders to be despatched to customer matching all relevant paperwork
- To assist with accurately logging of goods inwards and dispatched onto the computer stock management system
- To carry out regular stock takes and quality control
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- To contribute actively as a member of the warehouse staff team, working towards developing and improving our services and operations
- To undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role as requested by Supervisors and Management
- Excellent team player
- Personable with good customer service and communication skills
- Good levels of Maths and English
- Willing to perform a variety of duties within the warehouse and office
- Have good IT skills or a willingness to learn
- Able to lift and carry stock. Heavy lifting will be required after the relevant training has been complete
- Be punctual, have a responsible attitude and work to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
