The Warehouse Operative is responsible for various tasks within a warehouse environment, including but not limited to:

Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials

Picking and filling orders from stock

Packing and shipping orders

Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and transactions

Maintaining a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment

Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks

Loading and unloading delivery trucks

Inspecting and monitoring stock levels and ensuring availability of items

Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damages

Participating in regular inventory control and cycle count procedures

Collaborating with the team to meet productivity and performance goals

Supporting other team members as needed to ensure efficient and effective operations

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They should be physically fit, able to lift and move heavy objects, and comfortable working in a warehouse setting. Good communication and teamwork skills are also essential, as the Warehouse Operative will be working closely with other members of the team.

You should also have a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and processes.
