Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver

SM Electrical Supplies are looking for a Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver to join our Kirkcaldy branch. This position offers meaningful career development and the chance to be part of an innovative family run business, where you can grow as a professional.

As a Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver, we expect that you will:

· Ensure all incoming stock is managed according to company standard

· Professionally handle customer orders – carefully package items to specification

· Diligently complete stock-takes, managing and maintaining the integrity of our inventory

· Pertain to an exceptional standard of customer experience.

· Ensure customer orders are delivered to their required destination swiftly and reliably

· Successfully manage delivery routes to maximize efficiency

· Make sure goods reach their destination securely - carefully considering the size, weight and delivery route when loading or unloading vehicles

· Operate IT systems such as Intact IQ, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook

As an individual at SM Electrical Supplies, you should demonstrate the following attributes:

· A sharp focus on customers and their needs, bolstered by previous experience in direct customer service.

· Being able to work efficiently and effectively, in what can be a fast-paced role

· Adept at navigating changing conditions, with a keen eye for detail

· Remaining current and being prepared to learn new technologies and applications

· Previous experience working within a multi-product warehouse would be highly valued for this position

· Electrical product knowledge and previous experience working within the industry is an advantage

· Past multi-drop delivery experience would be beneficial

This role is a full time and permanent position. We offer a full 33 days a year in holidays, 5 bank holidays, as well as additional benefits.

Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
