In this role you will be accountable, from a Heathrow Allocation perspective, for the successful delivery of the Heathrow operation and for determining and leading the continuous improvement strategy for the department. This role will play a fundamental part in enabling the wider Operations Planning 360 feedback loop, aiming to influence network decisions and upstream planning assumptions.

This role will act as a senior point of contact for all Allocation queries and will be heavily relied on to provide data driven proposals and solutions to complex operational challenges.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree educated, preferably with in an analytical topic
  • Proven leadership skills with strong communication, negotiation and influencing ability as well as change management
  • Able to prioritise operational, urgent and strategic business issues effectively
  • Excellent planning, numerical and analytical skills with an ability to present complex analysis and data in simple terms
  • Excellent understanding and operational experience of the end-to-end resource supply and demand process including customer impact and drivers for successful performance
  • Able to represent function within an operational escalation framework
  • Customer focused with excellent people management skills and the ability to set clear direction
  • Understanding of Trade Union relationships (desired)
  • Must be able to hold an airside pass (essential)
