P2G Contract Support LLP
P2G is a Social Enterprise Partnership formed in 2012 to assist public sector bodies (NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Government Departments) to assess the performance of private sector contractors delivering outsourced services to the public sector.
We work closely with public sector clients providing commercial, contractual and technical support to ensure service delivery and value for money is achieved across a range of contracts covering the maintenance of Hospitals, Schools and other public sector buildings, the delivery of cleaning, catering and other services critical to the functioning of public services and other outsourced services.
Performance Management
Many of the healthcare, education, housing and emergency services provided within the UK are dependent on supporting services being provided to the NHS, Schools, Councils and Police / Fire Departments by private sector contractors.
The contracts for provision of these supporting services have a collective annual value of over 10 billion pounds and contain detailed performance management regimes, KPIs and payment mechanisms to ensure that the public sector is receiving value for money from private sector suppliers.
P2G assists over 60 public sector clients to manage the performance of these contracts, making sure that services are being delivered to the standards required and ensuring compensation is paid to the public sector where it is not.
The role
We are seeking graduates (degree level or equivalent) to join our highly skilled multi disciplinary team assisting public sector clients to effectively manage their private sector suppliers.
As part of P2G you will not only be gaining the skills, knowledge and experience to develop your career, but will be joining one of the leading providers of contract management services in the UK.
As a graduate analyst within P2G, you will be joining a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts undertaking a variety of activities to support the contract management activities of P2G and its clients. These include:
1. Reviewing contracts between the public and private sector to identify Key
Performance Indicators against which the private sector is assessed;
2. Analysing performance data provided by the private sector to assess the level of performance reported, including: a. Undertaking performance data analysis using Excel to assess performance against Key Performance Indicators; b. Producing summary reports detailing the level of performance achieved and the consequences of any failures in performance; and c. Liaising with client teams to understand whether the level of performance reported by the private sector aligns with the level of performance actually received by the public sector “on the ground”;
3. Attending regular meetings with the public and private sector to discuss performance and the performance data presented to identify areas for improvement and action required to meet Key Performance Indicators;
4. Working with legal advisors, technical experts and the P2G team to resolve disputes arising out of performance / underperformance and implement changes to Key Performance Indicators and contract terms.
To be suitable for this role you will have:
We provide a tailored training programme to each graduate analyst to enable them to build on the skills detailed above and you will gain experience working across a range of projects, with the wider P2G team. On completion of your two year graduate training process, you will progress to the role of Senior Analyst and have the opportunity for future progression and career development within P2G.
We have flexible working arrangements and, whilst successful candidates will attend training sessions in a central London office space during their training period, remote working is fully supported and encouraged where appropriate. We provide support to graduates to undertake external training (for example accountancy qualifications or masters’ degrees).
