Job Title – Junior Marketing Executive

The Opportunity

Lifestyle Property People is looking to expand its marketing efforts and reach and as a result, is looking for a self-motivated freelance Junior Marketing Executive to join our Marketing Team.

As a Junior Marketer, you will work with our Marketing Manager to devise unique campaign ideas to market our services. You will assist by performing a variety of tasks, such as creating content for social media, writing ad copy, proofreading and editing marketing materials, setting up email campaigns, etc.

Job Duties:

• Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns
• Creating & managing multimedia content for our online platforms such as social media, video, podcast and website content.
• Maintain our content calendar including scheduling the content & updating databases
• Monitoring and responding to social media engagement as well as engaging with other social media accounts to aid in our reach
• Implement and nurture online partnerships with influential & authoritative individuals and groups
• Website maintenance & updates, e.g.content updates & plugin updates
• Assist with the production of our monthly newsletters and email campaigns in MailChimp
• Graphic design and branding
• Assist with market research and competitor analysis
• Continually keep updated with changes and trends in Social Media marketing

Skills Required

• Creative, with the ability and confidence to design content for our digital platforms
• Great copy-editing skills (social media captions, emails, blogs and website copy)
• Strong IT skills in particular- Microsoft Office, Asana, Canva, Social Media Scheduling tools, video & podcast editing software
• Confident responding to social media comments & starting conversations
• An understanding of marketing in business
• Exceptional attention to detail skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately to a high standard and deadlines
• Eager to learn and develop your career
• Logical and pragmatic problem solving skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• At least 2 years’ experience in online and offline marketing
• Strong sense of personal responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• An Under Promise Over Deliver attitude

Job Location:

Home-based with use of own mobile phone, laptop and design software.
