About the role

The post holder will follow the PASHE syllabus, addressing the Programme’s Learning Outcomes to prepare students for study on UCL Institute of Education’s Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programmes. Key aspects of the role include assessing student progress and attainment, promoting and directing personal and independent learning through one-to-one tutorials, and ensuring that the course provides the best possible academic and English language preparation for prospective UCL Institute of Education students. About you

You will have a first degree and TEFL Q status (Diploma in TEFL/TESOL or equivalent such as PGCE) and experience of providing scaffolded academic writing (in 1:1 or small group tutorials) in a university context. Experience of working with Chinese learners is desirable. Your application form should address all the person specification points and should clearly demonstrate how your skills and experience meet each of the criteria. It is important that the criteria are clearly numbered and that you provide a response to each one.
