Overview:
FTC 12- month, full-time, hybrid #LI-Hybrid

A professional individual who wants to apply their project and financial market knowledge and further develop their understanding in the fast-growing sector of Regulatory Reform. With the continued high rate of change in the Regulatory reporting space, Regulatory Operations professionals have a mandate and platform to significantly impact their environment and the wider business.
Responsibilities:
  • Work as a Junior Business Analyst for the Regulatory Reporting team and assist with current and new projects and releases. This included BRD creation, writing test scripts and execution, assisting with and managing test cycles, producing detailed test results and data for senior management.
  • Work with Legal, Compliance, Technology and other Operations areas and various Business units to manage change and issue resolution.
  • Log, track, and update projects using JIRA.
  • Run Investigation, remediation and provide guidance on issues within reporting and assist with documenting, developing, and improving control.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives relating to Regulatory Operations, for example strategic Technology development
  • Asist in the implementation of the reconciliation processes.
  • Be flexible to contribute to other activities within the team where necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Transaction reporting project team.
  • Effective project, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate strategy to execution.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to department initiatives.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new changes and new challenges
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Advanced IT skills including complete proficiency in Microsoft applications.
