Job Title: Business Development Manager

Base: Off Site

Reports To: Sales Director

Hours of Work: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday

Main Purpose:

  • To develop new and existing input uPVC material agreements with resource recovery partners to support the recycling production site.
  • Drive new business of finished good pellet sales within target segments.
  • Deliver the Area Account plan including commercial performance KPI’s for Input CoGs, Sales and Margin

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the input and finished goods market with market with particular focus on target segments, service proposition, pricing structures all mapped against customer need and competitor activity.
  • Develop and implement a clear Area Account plan to deliver commercial value on input uPVC material and Sales across the VEKA Recycling portfolio.
  • In conjunction with Transport and Logistics, develop appropriate solutions for the collection of uPVC from source to minimise the landed costs to the production site.
  • Develop relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities & new waste stream solutions to offer clients to extend our existing services.
  • Focus on growing finished goods sales through new business development and growing share of wallet with existing clients.
  • Manage and maintaining key customer accounts, to ensure we deliver outstanding performance against the customers vendor assessment criteria.
  • Manage the area pipeline with clear forecasting of input material and sales demand within the wider business S&OP planning cycle.
  • Through the VEKA CRM Sharepoint database, plan, target and measure the performance of each input material partner and finished goods customers.

Person Specification

Essential

5 Years’ experience in Sales Management

Experience in driving value through CoGs management

Managing multiple customer accounts

Excellent Commercial Acumen

Required Knowledge (desirable)

Understanding of Recycling Market

Understanding of the Fenestration Market

Understanding of the Building Material Market

Personal Attributes

Good Team player

Ability to prioritise

Accuracy and attention to detail

Effective verbal and written communication skills
