Customer Service Advisor - Sales and Distribution

(Mon to Fri days)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team here in York. We will provide you with all the training needed for this position, so what you lack in experience you need to make up for in enthusiasm, reliability and a can do attitude. Because it’s a small but busy branch, it offers a good level of variety, as you will have a balanced mix, working on the sales counter, assisting throughout the stores / warehouse and lots of customer service.

The site in york is a little different from our typical Jewson outlets as it focuses on one customer, which provides a much closer working relationship and allows us build a better understanding of their requirements. This in turn helps our team to be more proactive and efficient in their day to day duties.

What will I be doing in this role?

The Customer Service Advisor role is a key role within this branch, from dealing with customer enquiries, working on the trade counter, managing the stock levels and ordering essential items, unloading deliveries right through to stacking shelves.

Key day to day duties include:

• Checking customer details on out system
• Printing delivery notes / checking orders
• Serving customers
• Stock replenishment
• General retail duties
