We’re looking for a casual customer service assistant, to join our ever growing team, to help us continue providing the excellent service, we’re so well known for.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Food and Beverage operation at Exeter Airport. The Café and bar is open daily, all our food is of top quality using local produce.

What does it take to join our team?
A genuine desire to deliver the very best customer service. Thinking your way around challenges and stepping up when things get busy. Being keen to help, learn quickly and offer a great service, always with a smile. Previous experience is desirable, but we offer fantastic on site and online training to teach you all you need to be ‘the face of LEDE’ and create an experience our customers will love and remember.

As a Customer Service Assistant, your responsibilities will be;

  • To assist with the safe and efficient running of Exeter Airport F&B operation, ensuring that all safety, customer service and quality standards are met
  • To ensure high levels of customer service and quality control are maintained at all times throughout the complex
  • To assist in the food and beverage operations as required, including open/close down procedures, service and stock control.
  • To assist with the general cleaning of the facility as required with a 'clean as you go' attitude.
  • To ensure that the facilities comply with Fire, Health and Safety, Food and Hygiene Regulations; reporting any issues to the management team.

As a Customer Service Assistant, you will need to have:

  • A positive and outgoing personality
  • The ability to communicate clearly
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Empathy towards customers, public and their perceptions
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours on occasions
