Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00
Salary: £10.50 per hour
What the role will involve:
Our GWR Kia Service Department are hiring. They are looking to recruit a full time Service Driver.
The main responsibilities of our Service Drivers are to collect and deliver cars from across London and bring to site for work to be completed. Check vehicle documentation is correct and log any discrepancies with line manager
Our Drivers assist in the movement and control the flow of cars on site, ensuring consistently high level of customer satisfaction through your personal and professional conduct.
An important part of the role will be to carry out basic vehicle level checks and completion of return vehicle condition report.
Assist the service department by preparing vehicles when required and deliver parts to customers and other dealerships to fulfil orders that have been authorised by parts staff
Adhoc duties will be to help and support the department in all area’s when required
What we need from you.
A basic requirement for the role is to hold a full driving licence. This will include manual and automatic transmissions.
Have good geographical knowledge of London, including travel on public transport to be able to plan routes effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, so instructions can be explained to customers regarding the collection/delivery of their vehicle.
You will take pride in your appearance and be well presented.
Have a good fitness level, as the role will involve a certain amount of walking.
Able to manage your time effectively, whilst being able to plan routes and make time sensitive adjustments to ensure customer lead timescales are met.
