The eCommerce Resource Strategy Graduate will be responsible for the execution of multiple workstreams relating to resource allocation and incentive design for TikTok Shop UK. This includes designing incentive strategy (e.g. to recruit, retain, and grow Merchants and Creators) on TikTok Shop and external research on competitors to inform leadership. This will involve coordinating and proactively working with all aspects of end-to-end project execution to deliver the objective within the time, cost and quality constraints.
The role requires multifaceted skillset and experience, and candidates should be comfortable working cross functionally to deliver results.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to generate insights and devise strategy based on data;
  • Manage cross-functional relationships to ensure execution of incentive plans;
  • Coordinate people and processes to ensure timely delivery and production of the desired results;
  • Being data driven and being comfortable with ad-hoc requests;
  • Proactively working with the Resource Strategy Lead to identify avenues to optimise efficiency and drive execution;
  • Monitor deployment of incentive strategies and resource usage; make adjustments/recommendations to Operations teams accordingly;
  • Co-own conversations with key cross- functional stakeholders including: Business Operations, Finance, Logistics, Governance, Legal, & Products to align on milestones and track progress ;
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with members of cross-functional teams;
  • Proactive management of Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies - identify causes for escalations as required.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors's or Masters's degree, graduating in 2023. Successful candidates must start in September 2023
  • Quantitative degree preferred
  • Previous experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Big Tech, or other Strategy-related functions is preferred
  • Experience in participating in end-to-end new project delivery, from strategy to implementation
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills; strong modelling skills preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management and communication
  • Fast learner with strong ownership
  • Self-starter willing to learn and shape execution
