Job Description :
- Monitor individual and team performance on a daily basis
- Utilise all available distribution resources
- Participate in all Fashion distribution team & management meetings
- Deliver agreed service levels to all internal & external customers
- Maintain employee compliance with all relevant company procedures & policy’s
- Work with all Distribution Management within the operation to optimise resource utilisation
- Organise the team in an efficient manner according to business needs and delegate responsibility where appropriate
- To be able to work under deadlines, act fast, be able to move from one activity to the other.
- Support the Fashion Distribution Manager
- Although comprehensive the job duties are not exhaustive and additional duties may be added according to the needs of the business and as requested by the General Distribution Manager or the Operations Director.
- Experience of operational management within a distribution operation
- Must be computer literate, with a good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Be able to work (or be able to learn to use) fashion distribution systems such as Y2, RED, SAP.
- Warehouse Management System experience is essential.
- Demonstration of good and effective communication skills.
- Strong team player who relishes a collaborative approach to delivering a positive performance.
- Utilise individual and team communication to set agreed goals/targets for improved performance and service
- Flexible approach to working hours, which is based on a 40 hour week and the need to work during the week and at weekends when required.
- Courteous, professional and appropriate liaison at all levels whilst remaining self-motivated, organised and enthusiastic
