Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV Fuel Driver to join our team based at our Ellesmere Port depot working 4 on 4 off as a Day Driver. This is a PERMANENT 4 on 4 off positions where you will work across 3.5 days.

You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers.

Pay Rates:

• £47,309 per annum
• This equates to an hourly rate of £21.66

• This value is paid weekly i.e. smoothed earnings this ensures a consistent level of weekly pay @ 3.5 days or 42 hours is paid each week (irrespective of the number of hours within the shift pattern) this excludes any additional payment for overtime
• Overtime is paid at a flat rate with guaranteed minimum of 9 hours per OT shift on a Saturday, and a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per OT shift on a Sunday

FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers

Essential Requirements:

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
• A tachograph card
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• A safety focus
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
• At least 2 years Tanker Experience
• A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)

The Package:

Expected earnings on these shift patterns are typically £900 - £920 per week / £47,309 per year. Please note these figures are indicative earnings for this group, actual earnings will vary depending on the hours worked.

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
