A multi-functional role, driving engineering activities, responsiveness and efficiency through collaboration with commercial, management & technical teams. With a broad overview of engineering & manufacturing theory and practice, contributing to services provisioning of holistic modelling locally, regionally and globally; eventually leading and driving initiatives, projects and solution development to deliver best in class services.


As a Graduate Engineer, you will be responsible for:


  • Participating in Phase 1 of the LEAD Field Engineer Development Program
  • Learning to run the product line’s tool(s) and/or services under supervision of more experienced field engineers/specialists and progresses to doing so independently
  • Following all company safety and security procedures and observes all company and government regulations
  • Conducting all required responsibilities safely and as stipulated in the company’s documentation
  • Conducting all assigned business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes policies

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a good Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Show personal interest, enthusiasm and motivation to work across innovative solutions within Pipeline and Process Inspection
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn, develop and harbour skills from other senior members of the team
  • Have a good application to understanding, interpreting and communicating technical concepts, drawings and data
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbally, in order to evolve successfully within the wider organisation at Baker Hughes
