We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Graduate Transport Modeller to join our expanding Modelling team in our Central London office.

What does the role involve?

You'll support in the delivery of a wide variety of projects within a thriving transport modelling team for several key clients. Your tasks will cover a range of activities from data analytics, business case development, strategic multi-modal modelling and microsimulation through from feasibility study to scheme implementation.

You will take ownership and responsibility for the quality of work you produce, ensuring that it is delivered in line with the agreed timescales. Furthermore, you will ensure that you understand and comply with our Company Integrated Management system and all relevant health and safety legislation.

To be successful in this role you’ll possess:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Maths, Transport Planning/Studies, Civil Engineering, Geography, Physics or a related subject.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and are passionate to find a quick, innovative and practical solution.
• Some knowledge or awareness of traffic modelling software packages like LINSIG, PARAMICS, SATURN, CUBE, EMME, VISUM/VISSIM is preferred but not essential.
• Programming skills in Python, R, C#, C+, vba are preferred but not essential.
• Some knowledge or awareness of GIS, SQL and MS Excel is preferred but not essential.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and seek assistance when required, organising and prioritising your workload to ensure that timescales are met.
• The ability to communicate and work collaboratively to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues and clients and enjoy working in a team environment, sharing knowledge and demonstrate pride in your work.
