We are currently looking to recruit a Head of Finance UK, reporting to the EMEA Finance Director.

Essentra Components has a turnover of c£64m revenue in the UK (domestic and export) - factory and trading entity plus global and regional headcount (400+). Change ahead includes an ERP go live, M&A integration, and PLC - UK accounting optimisation.

Job Requirements

• Direct reports for UK Components business: Management Accountant, Credit Control Team leader (change to be managed, currently reporting to Sales), AP lead, other Accounting roles. staff & interns. Total of 12 + new tasks
• For Components:
  
  • Key player in new to be established UK management team
  • Business partner for manufacturing team in UK including intercompany transactions across EMEA
  • Optimise UK transactional set up and be key stakeholder in roll out of D365 go live in 2023
  • Own integration of UK based M&A activities, integration and oversight of new finance teams
• With Group:
  
  • Collaborate in closing (and streamlining) of UK statutory entities
• Member of the EMEA finance leadership team
• Key role to align people and processes for the new phase (at the interface Plc-Components business).
• Sharing best practices for financial controls and processes across EMEA region
• Lead of finance transformation projects across the region

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Finance degree or equivalent
• Audit experience or qualification
• CPA or equivalent accounting qualification (desirable)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing environment and standard costing
• Strong control focus
• Ability to support the business yet act as financial conscious for the organisation and the MD
• Proactive with an analytical mind and the ability to think strategically and solve problems
• Experience of Business partnering, FP&A (desirable)
• ERP system change (desirable)
• Cognos, BPCS, Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)

This is a key role in the finance leadership team for the EMEA region.
