We are a complex organisation, always evolving, recruiting for a wide range of roles from academics, baristas, accountants and even sports coaches, so you will need to be able to think creatively.

As a Head of Talent and Recruitment, you will lead, develop, and deliver an innovative talent and recruitment service that will help to deliver the University's Strategy and People Strategy. Working collaboratively with the Reward and Recruitment, HR Business Partnering teams and key stakeholders across the University to deliver a best practice approach to a world class recruitment service. You'll be customer service focussed, have the ability to establish creditability and respect and build strong working relationships with colleagues, be able to work in a collaborative, proactive, innovative and solution focussed manner to achieve outcomes and to drive continuous improvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruitment specialist with substantial prior experience in a fast-paced, customer-focussed environment; with the ability to lead, challenge and motivate others. You will have a pro-active approach, with strong communication and analytical skills and will have knowledge and understanding of:

  • Recruitment and employment legislation and best practice
  • Attraction campaigns, employee value proposition and business engagement strategies
  • Recruitment processes, tools, and systems
