As a Healthcare Assistant you will join the team working in Ward 9, Adult Acute Admissions In-Patient, Woodland View facility within Ayrshire Central Hospital site. You will support the delivery of high quality nursing care, providing person-centred, recovery focused interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team.

A genuine interest in working with persons experiencing mental health problems is essential and experience of working within a care setting or role is highly desirable.

You will work as a key component of a multidisciplinary team and, as such, should have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills along with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work as part of a team.

You should be willing to undertake training to develop skills and competencies as required.

As part of this role there would be an expectation to facilitate group interventions. A genuine interest in patient activity group work would be desirable.

Hours: 32.50 per week

A flexible approach to shift patterns will be essential with a scope for working weekends and night shift.
