Heathrow Immigration Removal Centre is a detentions centre located next to Heathrow Airport in Harmondsworth, London Borough of Hillingdon. It is the largest immigration removal centre in Europe, with a capacity of 965 residents – mainly adult males, however it does house some adult female detainees.
Practice Plus Group will be taking over the contract from the existing providers on 1st April 2022 and will be delivering a fully integrated Health & Wellbeing Service focussing around key patient needs within Heathrow IRC. If you want to make a real difference to someone’s present and future with an opportunity to use all of your clinical and interpersonal skills whilst developing new abilities then this is the place to be.
Our model of care is our Wellbeing Approach – an integrated, comprehensive approach in recognition of the fact prisoners are a socially-excluded group with healthcare needs which are complex and often associated with poor outcomes. It adopts the premise no single health/wellbeing factor can be taken in isolation of other motivational issues which might impact a person’s care.

Receive an annual salary of up to £26,400 per annum depending on experience. You'll also get a number of benefits including a company contributory pension scheme,25 days annual leave, increasing with service up to 28 days per year, plus 8 public bank holidays and CPD and re-validation support.
Other benefits include cycle to work scheme plus training and clinical development opportunities.
