About the team

Within Customer Management we support a broad spectrum of clients in carrying out their 'business as usual' activities, driving fair and consistent outcomes for their customers. We do this from a range of locations, with skilled and experienced customer-facing teams and strong operational disciplines. Where issues have been identified that impact upon customers, our teams help to address these in a compliant, pragmatic, and timely manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable evidence of running and / or transforming healthcare operations, introducing new technology or operational approaches to increase efficiency.

  • A comprehensive understanding of patient pathways and appreciation of the relevant regulatory bodies, and the influence that they have

  • A strong industry network, and track record in business growth.

  • Experience of the business development lifecycle, from initial client conversations through to proposal build and value-add onsell with sensitivity in balancing competing agendas alongside proven experience of winning and adding value to client mandates.

  • A reputation for creating innovative solutions, solving complex problems and managing stakeholders.

  • An honest, transparent and credible persona, able to build and maintain long-term partnerships up to and including C-suite.

  • Proven experience of designing and driving structures and enabling operational delivery models to create long-term value.

  • An exemplar that others can learn from and develop towards, combining strong team ethics with an ability to coach and mentor colleagues to achieve outstanding results

  • A very clear understanding of the intricacies of managed services, either as supplier or client.


About the Role

This would be an excellent opportunity for a Director or Senior Operations Manager in the healthcare sector to further their career. The successful applicant will oversee the operational delivery and expansion of a growing portfolio of complex delivery programmes within the healthcare sector and work with senior stakeholders at our clients and across all lines of service to further scale this important business.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a portfolio of programmes across one or more ‘Go To Market’ value propositions.

  • Support the acquisition of new business by bringing credible delivery experience to client responses and pitches.

  • Provide a key point of contact for senior client stakeholders, to C-suite level, bringing an executive contact and authentic delivery expertise to the relationship.

  • Forge relationships with clients and internal colleagues to maintain existing and create new revenue streams, building on existing delivery programmes and creating new opportunities.

  • Advocate transformation and continuous improvement.

  • Develop the next generation of leaders through mentoring and support, focussing on the broader team to create passionate, technically able, experienced leaders.

  • Ensure programmes meet contractual obligations, budgetary and regulatory standards.
