An opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join our dynamic team in NHS Tayside.

If you have experience working in a Child/ Young person setting, with evidence of training and proficiency in core skills then we would like to hear from you!

However, candidates with experience in an Health & Social Care setting who can demonstrate an aptitude for learning and acquiring new skills will also be considered.

The role is varied and will include the use of core skills such as vital signs monitoring, Respiratory support - Ventilation airway maintenance/ clearance - tracheostomy /suctioning Enteral feeding

Above all you will need to be a team player who is able to function and deliver care in a variety of settings. An absolute necessity is the desire to be involved in delivering high quality, person centered care

You should possess excellent written and verbal skills as well as demonstrating good people skills

Training will be given with an expectation that core competencies will be completed within agreed time scales.

You should be interested in developing further within this role

The primary base is within the Paediatric Department at Tayside Children’s Hospital in Ninewells Hospital Dundee , but you may be required to rotate service areas Department depending on the needs of the service.
