We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated trainee Accountant. The company works with a wide range of clients from local SME businesses to large UK companies across many business sectors.

You will report directly to Senior Management and enjoy a competitive package. We have an opening for a great role offering an opportunity to grow and develop your career in accounting within their outsourcing team and obtain great on target earnings. You will also work remotely depending on your systems Mac/Pc. The role is an easy commute to central London.

After training and development, some of your responsibilities will include:

· Assist in the preparation of month-end balance sheet reconciliations and monthly VAT Returns.

· Self – Assessment and Company Tax returns

· Assist in the preparation of year end statutory financial statements

· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

· Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

· Bookkeeping

· Company registrations

· Preparation for statutory purposes

· Invoicing on behalf of clients

· Managing client bank accounts and processing payments on their behalf

· Preparing management accounts

· General accounting duties.

Experience in accounting software and studies is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will be very self-motivated, driven and have a keen interest to further their career in Accounting. Full training will be given and an opportunity for study support where applicable. You will also be able to develop your client portfolio through our business development opportunity.
