Do you have experience of project management techniques in a HR environment?

We have an opportunity for a skilled HR Project Coordinator to join our team out of Leatherhead on a 12-month contract. The role is to work closely with the HR Service Delivery Manager on the continuous improvement of information systems and HR Shared Services related initiatives and to provide project management support to the HR Shared Services function.

We are looking for you to have experience of project management techniques in a HR environment with a project management qualification to support. Ideally, you will have achieved CIPD level 5 or above.

To be successful in the role, you will have a good working knowledge of project management principles and practices. Advanced knowledge of MS Office products is essential particularly Excel


  • Serve as a liaison between HR and IT departments to provide project management support and analysis and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and users of HR information systems

  • Project management support across the HR programme, including HRIS and non-technical projects, assisting in the coordination and organisation of broader project plans to help keep projects on track, on budget, meet deadlines and keep team members informed

  • Responsible for tracking progress and identifies/resolves obstacles

  • In conjunction with the HR and Payroll leads, develop, and maintain system and process documentation, including development of relevant guidance notes and delivery of training to the HR team and the wider business

  • Assists with the communication of system changes to employees and managers

  • To participate in and attend working groups, project meetings and conferences, both internal and external, providing HR Shared Services representation to maintain and improve systems and processes

  • Build and develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders contributing to the success of the HR Shared Services strategy
