Role Summary

Aubay is seeking a senior Business Analyst to join our Supermajor client's Trading & Supply team. The ideal candidate will have solid Endur and LNG Trading experience and will be primarily responsible of supporting projects and BAU delivery for the client's LNG business area. This role will navigate complex team structure with number of teams, team leads and mangers to uphold and influence their processes with industry standard and excellence. You will be working directly with the business to understand business issues, conduct fact finding, analyse impacts and dependencies, recommend end-to-end solution designs independently or as part of a team, to implement the solution or solve incidents and problems.

Role responsibilities:

  • Execute business analysis tasks using appropriate methods, tools, and technology.
  • Capture and document user requirements into specifications, with inputs from business users, subject matter experts and Design Authority.
  • Work independently on transformation, improvement initiatives, liaising effectively with senior stakeholders & vendors on complex problems etc.
  • Describe technology in terms easily understood by business customers and set realistic customer expectations for the project outcome
  • Adjust customer expectations in accordance with changes in scope.
  • Generate innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities.
  • Support projects and teams in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, UAT Implementation, and production support for software systems.
  • Determine and design solutions that are scalable and sustainable for a global business
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder satisfaction levels: build and develop strong trust relationships with the stakeholders by clearly owning, resolving and communicating issues and problems

Required Skills:

  • Strong IT Business Analysis Skills: BA tools & techniques, BA planning & monitoring, requirements management
  • Domain Knowledge - Must have LNG Trading experience with an understanding of the full trade life cycle
  • 7+ years of overall relevant experience
  • 4+ years working experience as Open link Endur BA (v14+), including hands-on configuration such as deal modelling
  • Good understanding of key physical / financial products, for example: Futures, Options, Swaps, Forwards, Physical and Storage.
  • Knowledge of End to End SDLC & Agile Delivery
  • Sound analytical skill and change management capabilities
  • Strong Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Good Communication & Collaboration Skills
  • Able to manage multiple delivery priorities and multiple demand requests
  • Able to perform in virtual, cross-functional, cross-cultural, geographically distributed teams

Desirable Skills:

  • FRM / ERP / CFA / or any globally recognized trading related certification
  • CBAP, PSM., or similar certifications
  • Detailed Options experience
