Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Manager to join our growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining essential IT operations, these include operating systems, security tools, application, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software and hardware for the smooth running of our computer systems. It is a critical role in supporting our team, ensuring the success of our technology operations at multiple locations and for our remote workers.

· Oversee the implementation and maintenance, including licenses of our company’s computing needs for all systems including Office 365, SharePoint, Dropbox and a new ERP system due for implementation

· Act as the primary point of contact for technology related issues and inquiries from on-site and remote working teams

· Ensure the security of data for GDPR compliance, network access and execute backup procedures

· Set up new user accounts and devices, manage & monitor user access

· Audit systems and ensure they meet industry best practices, keeping abreast of the latest technology developments and assess their potential impact on the company

· Develop and implement IT policies and procedures

· Handle the annual budget for technology operations and ensure cost-effectiveness

Skills required:

· Proven professional experience in a similar role

· Detailed knowledge of industry best practice processes and data centre management

· Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation

· Expertise in data governance and information security

· Great prioritisation skills for quick response when issues arise and completion of regular system review and maintenance

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of our team

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

Salary is dependent on experience but will be in the region of £30k-35k per annum.

• 28 days Paid leave per annum (including bank holidays), increasing based on length of service
