In less than two decades Mr & Mrs Smith has grown from a cult guidebook to the travel club for hotel lovers with more than 1.3 million members and a hand-picked collection of more than 1,500 hotels. The role of Junior Credit Controller is key to the next phase of Mr & Mrs Smith’s growth as we continue to curate the world’s most desirable hotel collection. The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things credit control, have an appreciation of the luxury lifestyle sector, and understand what inspires the modern traveller.

We are looking for a permanent Credit Controller, preferably full time though part-time will also be considered, on a remote working basis. Prior experience of credit control, Sage and/or Salesforce would be ideal but is not essential and full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be organised, able to work independently, have a strong attention to detail and be comfortable communicating politely but firmly by both email and telephone.

Responsibilities

• Following up on outstanding payments by email and telephone
• Monitoring and handling all invoice-related queries
• Maximising cash flow through expedient query resolution and written and verbal communication
• Ensuring debts are paid within terms
• Allocating cash receipts in Sage
• Managing customer ledgers
• Managing communications through Salesforce
• Ensuring highly accurate records are maintained
• Performing ad hoc tasks as required
