I am seeking a Junior / Assistant Project Manager for the team in Cheltenham, reporting into the SIPP Project Manager.
The SIPP Business Area continually delivers new product features and service improvements by adapting our internal processes and developing our IT platforms. This role sits within the SIPP Change Team whose overall aim is the successful delivery of business change through focused projects, often involving new technologies, product innovation and major process improvements. The need for change is driven by strategic and tactical business initiatives normally aimed at enhancing products and services, increasing efficiency, reducing risk, improving customer journeys, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
My client is at the beginning of an exciting transformation period within SIPP and they envisage the next 5 years of SIPP growth to be a key diversifier in terms of increasing the administration function of personal pensions.
It is fully intended that the role could progress into a Project Manager role for the right candidate, taking on further responsibilities and project management duties.
The role is located at our Cheltenham office with attractive hybrid home-working and flexibility, where you can share your time between your home and the office.
Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to support Project Managers (potential in both SIPP and other business areas) throughout the project lifecycle by ensuring project standards are followed, updating project documents and controls, arranging project meetings, creating materials to communicate with project stakeholders.
Specific responsibilities include:
Co-ordinate and schedule project meetings and workshops.
Support project meetings – collate material, take minutes, etc.
Update project plans in line with status, progress and changes.
Manage and update a range of project documents and controls.
Support the Project Manager in production of project progress reports and distribute to the relevant stakeholders.
Administrative tasks as specified by the SIPP Change Team leadership group.
Monitoring adherence to BW project standards.
Support Project Manager with analysis and reporting Agile development team progress with project deliverables.
Produce SIPP Change Team MI and summary reports.
