What you'll be doing:
Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information is available on customer accounts
Respond to Finance support queries raised by customer or CSR’s, ensuring that any issues are reported or resolved in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure credit account applications comply with business rules
Ensure that all invoicing and payments of receivables associated with the CGRAAS scheme are prompt, securely banked and reconciled
Monitor customer balances to ensure outstanding debts or overpayments are followed up and promptly recovered or refunded in line with CGRAAS procedures, liaising with Key Account Managers in resolution of issues where appropriate
Month end reporting
Reconciliation and variance analysis of Actuals to Forecast and Business Plan
Approve and post journals – accruals, standard adjustments, and cross charges
Ad hoc analysis and query resolution
Exception reporting and variance investigation
What we’re looking for:
Ideally Part Qualified Accountant with progression towards accounting qualification
Hands on and enthusiastic individual looking for career development
Keen to learn, drive efficiency and automation
Inquisitive mindset – able to take initiative to explore and investigate issues to resolution
Able to analyse, evaluate and present financial information to a high standard
Confident and able to quickly establish solid working relationship with wide variety of stakeholders
Good organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Ability to communicate with Non-Finance individuals
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
