The Finance department is integral to the operations and supports the company at a corporate level and regionally in both the UK and the US. Ensuring that Mirada is compliant in all regions through high levels of financial control. The team also supports the company in its daily activities and growth plans through providing accurate, timely and meaningful information that enables the Board and Executive Management Team to make effective decisions. We're looking for a Management Accountant who will work closely with the rest of the Finance team to ensure that the regular financial reporting both internally and externally is completed on time and to a high standard.


This role is part time, 30 hours per week and we are happy to discuss a working arrangement that is suitable for you! We also have remote/hybrid working available for this role.


Main duties and responsibilities


  • Preparing entity monthly management accounts for Financial Controller review and consolidation
  • Assistance with audit preparation
  • Treasury Management in multiple currencies
  • Management and reconciliation of Prepayment, Accruals and Fixed Assets schedules
  • Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Assistance with Tax, Royalty and Grant reporting on a periodic basis
  • Assistance with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Additional activities as reasonably requested by the line manager

  • Ability to organise and plan effectively
  • Experience of using cloud-based software
  • Ethical Mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to manage change
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong IT Skills

Advantageous


  • Audit Experience
  • Experience in business partnering
  • Experience with multi currencies / FX
  • Holding any of the following certifications: AAT / ACCA / CIMA part qualified or QBE.
