The successful applicant will be an NHS employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable service users. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been necessary to take significant steps to protect the health and safety of our staff, service users and those attending our sites. Our Mental Health Practitioners will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Home Treatment Team and newly commissioned Crisis Hub and Helpline. The team promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, triaging and responding to mental health crisis calls and referrals, providing interventions, support, guidance and signposting. The service further delivers timely and responsive face to face assessments where required.

This team is made up of nurses, Approved Mental Health Practitioners, Social Workers and Support Time Recovery Workers, Wellbeing coaches, psychology, and Clinical Associate in psychology with the support of an admin team and medical staff. To build and broaden your experience whilst adding variety to the post, the successful candidate/s will rotate between working in Home Treatment Team, the Crisis Hub, Single Point of Access team and the helpline.
This is a full-time post, working 13 long days/nights over a 4 week period.
